The girl behind the Macramé.
Hi. My name is Sami.
I'm 32, a wife and a stay at home mum of two. I have a 7 year old son and a 4 year old daughter who are my absolute world! My beautiful little pigeon pair!
I have always been an artistic and creative person but I definitely lost that side of myself for quite a long time after entering the busy, beautiful world of motherhood. Then not longer after having my second born I stumbled upon the art of Macramé.
Originally I just had the intention to try and create a wall hanging for our own home, but I fell completely head over heels in love with this unique artform!
And so 'For the love of Knots' was born.
This has been an absolutely incredible journey that I am so beyond grateful for! I honestly never ever could have imagined during that moment when I created that very first wall hanging where this beautiful artform would take me! And oh my goodness it honestly feels so amazing to have that artistic and creative side of me here and flourishing once more.
Macramé has been such a huge part of my life and has opened up so many more doors for me than I ever could have imagined it would. It really was the beginning of a whole new journey to finding my true self.
About a year after I started ‘For the love of knots’ I went through a really rough anxiety period in my life, this brought me to my yoga and meditation journey, I needed something new to help calm and reground me. My yoga journey then brought me to my oily journey
(hello Frankincense IYKYK) which then started me on my low tox journey. I am now also studying my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training, am a Young Living Independent Distribtutor and am just over here living the most mindful, low tox, plant based life as I can.
